As a Thanksgiving Special, Le Plank gave 2 separate performances for the seniors at Ivy Park San Ramon. There were many group songs, including the favorite, Moon Represents my Heart, and the classic "Red Wing." There were also solos from Frank, Michael, Andy, and Lydia. Le Plank was happy to add to the Holiday festivities.

A week before Halloween, Le Plank went to Ivy Park Pleasanton to give the Seniors a performance. Featured songs were the patriotic "America the Beautiful" performed by all, the American Folk Song "Red Wing" performed by the High Schoolers, among many classical pieces. Michael had two great guitar solos, one of which was "All of Me" by John Legend. Both adults and children enjoyed the pieces.

On Saturday, September 21, Le Plank did a fundraising performance at the Danville Farmer's Market. We played the favorites "Beauty and the Beast," and "Reflection" from Disney's Mulan. There was a great Solo from Aiden, and we finished with "The Moon Represents My Heart." In total, Le Plank raised around $190 in donations. 

At the start of the School Year, Le Plank came to Ivy Park Pleasanton to give a heartwarming performance. On the schedule were the classic songs "Boogie Woogie," and "Cinema Paradiso." Two Disney Songs, "I See The Light" from Disney's "Tangled" and "Reflection" from Disney's "Mulan." Keenan played some nice piano solos and both Jacob and Frank performed classical pieces. We finished off with "The Moon Represents My Heart." Le Plank hopes to revisit Ivy Park soon!

Near the end of July, Le Plank and Mr. Lawrence went to Ivy Park of Pleasanton to do a performance with Ms. Jianni and her family during their visit to California. Austin played "Star Spangled Banner" in his Navy uniform, and the iconic piece "Home on the Range" was performed. Derrick and Ms. Jianni both played amazing solos, and Apryl also played "The Swan" on her cello with Ms. Joan Chen as pianist. "Danse Macabre" and "Palladio" were played by the whole group and featured some soloists. Le Plank finished off the concert with a favorite; "Moon Represents My Heart". Everyone enjoyed playing for the seniors, and we hope to have another event like this one with Ms. Jianni and her family next year!

As summer approached, LePlank came back to Ivy Park Pleasanton to feature a selection of both modern and classical pieces. Songs like Viva La Vida and The Moon Represents My Heart made a return.

To celebrate Earth Day, LePlank performed twice in the same day, visiting the Danville Farmers' Market in the morning and a local Earth Day event in the afternoon. Group and individual pieces comprised the set with notable mentions including the famous pop songs 'My Favorite Things' by Ariana Grande and 'Dance Monkey' by Tones and I.

Making another appearance at Ivy Park Pleasanton on the 16th of March, LePlank showcased a new set featuring a larger ensemble. With the addition of two cellos and the return of Michael on the Cajon, LePlank performed a diverse set including Cinema Paradiso, Can't Help Falling In Love, Palladio, and The Swan.

On March 2nd, 2024, LePlank returned to Ivy Park San Ramon with a classical selection of music pieces. The performance featured a number of solos from Lydia, Jack, Nathan, Jacob, as well as a duet of "The Swan" by Frank and Andrew, accompanied by Remon. Rounding it all up, the ensemble finished with popular film score "Cinema Paradiso" as well as "Palladio" by Karl Jenkins.

Kicking off the 2024 Spring season, LePlank featured many of our players in solos during our performance at the Ivy Park Pleasanton on 2/24/2024. We had beautiful performances from Remon, Lydia, Jack, and Leyi. To finish the program, the group collected together for the Moon Represents My Heart.

In preparation for the 2024 Winter/Spring season, Le Plank gathered for a rehearsal on 1/20/23. New pieces were introduced for the new season and we are working hard to bring everyone more performances.

To end the 2023 Autumn/Winter season, Le Plank visited Ivy Park Pleasanton to share their music with a new audience. They featured many solo and quintet pieces as part of their program with another Holiday Sing-Along led by Aiden.

As the 2023 Autumn/Winter  Season nears to the end for Le Plank, the group visited the Dougherty Station Library on December 9th, 2023 to put on an annual holiday concert. The program featured many popular holiday jingles, even featuring a sing along section of Dreydl, Jingle Bells, and We Wish You A Merry Christmas for the crowd to get involved.

On November 18th, 2023, Le Plank performed at Watermark Senior Center in San Ramon. The group played songs from a range of genres, ranging from classical to pop and holiday jingles. 

On November 11th, 2023, Le Plank collaborated with Seagull Leadership International as well as CYCS to put on a three hour charity performance at the Danville Farmer's Market, featuring a diverse variety of instruments and pieces from both the west and east. All of the received donations will be in turn donated to the Hawaii Wildfire Relief program in order to help the ones who was affected by the wildfire in Maui this summer. 

On October 7th, Le Plank officers Andrew, Frank, and Remon were invited to perform "Polka" by Shostakovich and "Salut d'Amour" by Elgar at the "Conversation with Chief" event, hosted by APAPA.

For the second event on September 30th, Le Plank returned to the beloved Ivy Park senior home to perform once again. The audience was graced with solos from various instruments and ensemble pieces, including an orchestral cover of the popular pop song "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay.

To start a day of back-to-back performances, Le Plank, Mr.Lawrence, and friends participated in the Blackhawk Museum's Mid-Autumn Asian Cultural Festival, a display of Asian culture and art. On stage, the group energized the crowd with a set including the Chinese classic Blessings by Jacky Cheung and The Moon Represents My Heart. We are proud to share different cultures through our music!

Before the 2023 Autumn/Winter Season, LePlank participated in Keepviolinin's Music is Love Recital. Performers, Michael and Andy performed a special rendition of the popular country classic "Take Me Home, Country Roads".

As for the final performance of the 2023 Spring/Summer Season, Le Plank decided to perform at Lions Wayside Park in Pleasanton. Le Plank is thankful for the opportunities that our community gave and hopes to donate more to the Oakland Zoo.

On May 14th, we returned to Ivy Park to celebrate Mother's Day. Guests were amazed to see our vast variety of instruments as well as our duet and solo performances. 

On April 29th, we performed at Ivy Park Senior Center in San Ramon. Everyone enjoyed our performance so much that we were invited back to perform on Mother's Day May 14, 2023.

On April 22nd, we performed at the Walnut Creek Civic Park to celebrate the Earth Day Celebration. We thank APAPA once again for giving us the chance to perform. 

On April 15th, we performed at the Watermark Senior Center. We jubilantly performed with guest performers. 

On March 18th, we performed at the Watermark Senior Center in San Ramon. We love sharing different types of instruments. Three pipa players joined our program tonight along with our soloist and ensemble groups.

On February 25th, we performed at the Watermark Senior Center in San Ramon. We enjoyed bringing smiles to all the seniors! The staff invited us to return regularly. We officially settled on the third Saturday of each month at 6:30 PM. 

On February 11th, we performed at Snowflake Desserts in Pleasanton. Our variety of music brought warmth and joy to the customers on a cold day. The owners of Snowflake Desserts welcomed us to return and perform anytime.

On January 23, 2023, Le Plank and friends performed at the First Presbyterian Church in Livermore. We played songs across multiple eras and regions - from classical Bach double to Chinese Folk Songs. 

Wearing festive costumes to celebrate Halloween, Le Plank busked at the Danville Farmers Market on October 22, 2022. We raised and donated $247.60 to the Oakland Zoo. 

On December 12, 2022, we put on our Santa hats and performed inside the Dougherty Station Library. We were loud and festive, playing holiday music including Feliz Navidad, Dreidel, Jingle Bells, and Deck the Halls. No one shushed us. In fact, this is the fourth time the librarian invited us back!

On April 30, 2022, we busked at the San Ramon Children's Business Fair in San Ramon Central Park. We received generous donations which we gave to the Oakland Zoo to support animal care and conservation.

On October 30, 2021, Le Plank and the Euphony quartet, performed at Emerald Glen Park in Dublin. Everyone dressed up in festive Halloween costumes and played hauntingly well.

On September 18, 2021, Le Plank, Euphony, and friends performed at Mosaic Park for the Mid-Autumn Celebration Concert. Le Plank played Grandma In Peng Bay, Euphony played Star Wars, and together, they played Palladio, Witches Dance, and Moon Represents My Heart.

On June 20, 2021, Le Plank, Euphony, and Fourte performed at Emerald Glenn Park in Dublin.
